Thank you, Thank you

A Thank you from Lois Fraser, President of the Board of Globe to the outgoing members of the Board:

"We would like to offer our thanks to the following people, who worked diligently on the Executive the past year:

Our Treasurer Maureen Walker (and the “man behind the successful woman”, Chris Walker) has been on the executive for many years and in many capacities. Maureen and Chris put Globe front and centre in all they do. Under X-ray examination, they probably consist of musical notes!

Our Social Convenor, Cecily Restivo, is hanging up her party arranging socks and will produce our Cabaret instead. Thanks, Cecily.

Our Secretary Bobbie Flatt has energy to burn, the enthusiasm of a 20 year old and no doubt has carpel tunnel syndrome from typing up meeting notes and emails. Future historians will look at the notes from the past year and wonder why they were 4 times the size. Thanks for your energy, Bobbie and for continuing your publicity work for Into the Woods.Side Note: Bobbie with an Assistant Director hat on, is the first in our Apprentice Development Program and under the leadership of Into the Woods director Scott Lale.

And last, but certainly not least, we have Melissa Fischer, who has served as VP for three years. Melissa is the hardest working member of Globe and she has taken on jobs that would crush lesser human beings. To say that she has been invaluable to our group is a big understatement. Thanks, Melissa for putting your heart and soul into Globe. We are happy that you will continue your work as “Producer Extraordinaire!”
