- On a recent trip to Stratford to see Kiss Me, Kate!, Lois Fraser and Maureen Walker were delighted to bump into David Ambrose at the theatre. As any long-time member of Globe will tell you, David was not only a valued performer and director, but also served as our President at the time that made the move to St. Paul's as our rehearsal space. He is now a teacher at the Etobicoke School for the Arts and lives in downtown Toronto. Lo and Mo were happy to give him all the latest news about Globe.

- A contribution from Maureen Walker: "A few weeks ago, some of the members of the Building Committee were meeting in the Armoury with our architect and building contractor, when a couple of tourists from England wandered in through the open door. One of them was a structural engineer, specialising in the restoration of old buildings. He and Marina, our architect, enthused about our good fortune in acquiring this magnificent building and, on hearing that we have to pay $2 per year to the Town for ground rent, pulled out a $20 bill and paid our first 10 years rent for us! Wasn't that nice of them?"
